TESTIMONIALS

Nothing but five stars for Forever Young People. I was introduced to the company through my school and worked closely with Ashley for a year developing my emotional intelligence and coping with exam anxiety. Starting as just a support for exam stress, Ashley has become an integral part of my adolescence and life, he creates stable and supportive relationships with teenagers that unbreakable. I can say firsthand I wouldn't be the successful young person I am without Ashley. I know he is someone I can rely on and look up to for the rest of my life. Anyone to have a pleasure with working with is very lucky and I highly recommend him and his team.

LOLA AGGIO – MENTEE

I’ve met Ashley the director of Forever Young People through my son who had some sessions with him at school. I cannot recommend enough about this amazing company. Ashley is exactly what a teenager should have in his life - someone trustworthy, calm, understanding and supportive. I am so grateful we have Ashley in our lives and I highly recommend to every family with teenagers to join Forever Young People.

NOAH SHARHAR – PARENT

Ashley has been instrumental in supporting really hard to engage young people I work with through the pandemic. His holistic support and skills have enabled young people to reengage with education and the social world around them. I have worked with a lot of mentors over the years, Ashley is definitely one of the best!!! I have seen him go above and beyond for young people - truly making a difference to their lives with his holistic approach. I very much look forward to having Ashley as part of a team to support other young people in the future.

VANESSA BUNN – YOUTH OFFENDING TEAM MANAGER

Ashley was a great asset to have at our school. He connected well with all the students, creating a safe and comfortable space for them to talk about their worries. He also helped guide them, empowering them with strategies to manage their anxieties, and the confidence to be able to move forward in their lives.

Ash has been working with our school for two years now and has had a hugely positive impact on our pupils. We have seen first hand the influence he has had on some of our pupils behaviours and mental health. He creates a safe and open environment for our young people to feel empowered and build their confidence. Ash’s relatable and relaxed approach has made our young people feel comfortable to open up and engage with his support.

Could not recommend this service enough!

BECKY TOLLIDAY – PASTORAL LEAD – REACH FREE SCHOOL

Ashley and I have worked together this last year and he has been an outstanding mentor since the very first day. Not only has he been a pleasure to work with in a professional capacity, but he has also had an immediate and long-term impact on the young people he works with. He provides them with a relatable presence; someone that they can look up to, seek an example from and learn from. He is a great team player, reliable and intelligent - an asset in any walk of life. Thank you, Ashley!

ABBY WILKINS – PRO-ACTION – PARTNERSHIP WORK

We have worked with closely with Ashley and Forever Young People over the past 2 years and have been hugely impressed at what they are able to deliver and have achieved. Under Ashley’s leadership, the organisation has gone from strength to strength and they are an outstanding partner organisation that is credible and very reliable.

CHARLIE MANN, HERTS SPORTS PARTNERSHIP – PARTNERSHIP WORK

We have been working in partnership with Forever young people over the past six months

on various projects that support young people with both their physical and mental wellbeing.

Ashley and the team have delivered two HAPpy camps over the Easter and summer

holidays, to support disadvantaged young people in the borough, with the aim of tackling

holiday hunger, physical inactivity and social isolation. Through these programmes they

have been able to provide new experiences through sport and physical activity and improve

confidence, which has a lasting impact and is evident when they return after attending the

Easter camps.

A successful Youth Hub was established and is delivered by FYP, working within one of our

deprived active local areas to try and reduce social exclusion, steer young people away from

anti-social behaviour and provide a safe space and support network. The team have been

able to build positive relationships and trust with these young people. The hub has been

really flexible in terms of what they deliver and the team have been great at offering a variety

of multi-sport sessions.

A mentoring football project is another example of the great work by FYP. During the

summer holidays we were able to support with funds to deliver this project. The overall aim

was to engage with ages 14+ through football, where they could make friends and develop

social skills. There was then the support unit from the team where they were able to mentor

the young people around topics including anxiety, stress, anger etc.

Ashley and the team are very reliable and enthusiastic, they’re always looking to get

involved where possible, and have great determination to engage with the community. The

team are very knowledgeable and have a great energy about them.
